Reykjanes is a 100 MW geothermal power plant on the southwest side of the Reykjanes Peninsula, near the Reykjanes Lighthouse. Eykt built a powerhouse with a 4,250 m² footprint, a total area of 9,500 m² and a volume of 67,200 m³, as well as a substation with a total area of 1,315 m2 and a volume of 18,700 m3, a separation plant with a total area of 675 m2 and a 9,000 m3 volume and a switchyard at Rauðamelur, which is about 650 m² in area and about 9,100 m3 in volume.
Eykt was the primary developer of this project and handled the co-ordination of all tasks. Approximately 4000 m² of camp-housing for the plant was also erected, with accommodation for 150 people. The office spaces of Eykt and Hitaveita Suðurnesja were located in the work camp area.
